DUO TREBLE

Ayla Emanet and Blake Weston are both former students of the Orchesterzentrum NRW, where the first met during study-related projects.

They were both selected by Lothar Zagrosek in 2013 to travel to Brazil as members of the Young-Euro Classic Ensemble Brazil-Germany. After forming a bond during the 2 month tour of the country, Emanet and Weston decided to concentrate their work as an ensemble, “Duo Treble”.

Duo Treble is currently involved in the production of “The Chase”, an innovative, interdisciplinary film project in collaboration with the Rheinische Musikschule Köln, Peter Ustinov Schule and Meertz Film. The final result will be premiered in Cologne in December, 2015.
